Hi,
I am just an ordinary guy looking for an ordinary girl. Simples!
Pete is in it for the long haul, love and happiness forever etc. Don't want one night stands etc, just want a genuine, sweet, honest girl to hug, hold hands, kiss and love, hopefully forever more, or until the grim reaper calls at least!
Seriously, I am an honest, generous, courteous chap that has been messed around a lot so taking time to get to know someone is a probability. I have been single for a fair while now but finding faith to try again. I am a patient person that has plenty of self control along with oodles of respect for my fellow earthlings. I am really seeking an honest lady that knows how to love and how to be loved; not wanting any divas or princesses, just a plain ordinary girl will do me just fine as I will make you my queen.
I have some home done tatoos on my arms - the product of a not so mis-spent youth, would happily have them removed, to be fair. I work hard but certainly like to leave the job behind, when I come home and would love to find someone to come home to: someone that I can throw my arms around and ask how their day went. Ultimately I would like a lady that doesn't mind a man that is proud to show his affection in public. I want to feel proud, walking down the street with a lady again.
I enjoy history and archaeology, stargazing with or without my telescope, nature and wildlife, long walks in the country and mountain scrambles, boats (Lived on one for a while and loved it), aeroplanes (Have a pilot licence but don't fly at the moment - planning to return to cavorting with the clouds sometime in the future) and motorsport (National B Rally Driver / Co-Driver but tend to help and encourage rather than get involved nowadays). I also like family time, playing games with the grand kids and doing all the DIY jobs (properly). Can't give or get enough cuddles (Very tactile), relish the cosy nights in cwtching up under a blanket on the sofa, with a bit of romance, enjoy live music / festivals / Rock Music (Not for a while though), Sunday roast and Indian food. Quite fancy horse riding / Driving, scuba diving, sailing and walking on the moon, lol and very open to new experiences and adventures, maybe your experiences and adventures. Genuine girls only please as I don't want to waste mine or your time. I am carrying a tiny bit of extra weight right now, (Had to stop my daily running routine when my running partner - my dog , got ill and sadly lost his fight), but losing it daily now - loads of will power and quite active too. No couch potato here I'm afraid.
Not really in to noisy pubs as I prefer to chat and am really not a drinker; just a shandy on a summer's day perhaps. I don't smoke, not in to drugs, not in to arguing or aggression and will walk away from anyone causing trouble as I prefer peace and intellectual debate, rather than angry arguing. I have absolutely no issues with race, colour, creed etc, I am totally approachable and will always be polite, so don't be shy. I will like you, even if nothing comes of it, as I am a warm and friendly, albeit fairly introverted type. I have some great friends, one or two I care about deeply, love very much and would do anything for.
