I am a man who lives alone because the love of my life preceded me in death. Now I live a life of faith and trust God for the finer things in life. I do not look down on the generation that thought pot was the best stone around; but the rest of the things synonymous with hippies is not my cup of tea. I believe that a man and a woman should form a bond of trust and friendship that transcends extra curricular lovers and insist that monogamy is tantamount to that trust. I love the music of woodstock and classic rock and roll. I admit that I am somewhat of an introvert, so staying at home to see a movie is better that going to a party with friends. I do spend a great deal of time with my circle of friends who mostly share the same faith as i do and worship God where I do. My faith is my life. There is no point in living large if the end game has me going down. I am not a bible thumper or a fundamentalist; but I do consider myself to be a disciple of Christ who has guided me to be who I am. I am not interested in hooking up with anybody for a casual fling . but I am open to a friendship that is based on mutual faith even if that does not lead toward a deeper relationship. I am interested in finding a wife who loves the Lord as I do and does not buy into the legalism of religion that says what God has created in nature is impure. I have never actually seen in scripture where God said otherwise. I believe what God said was everything he made was good so long as it is received with thanksgiving and blessings. I do not drink alcohol for pleasure and have not been drunk in several years. I am not a tea totaler who frowns on cocktails and other strong drinks. Moderation and self control are a trait of my faith. This applies to my favorite vice too and that grows from the ground.

I really do not have regrets for not trying the things I've always wanted to try because I have gone through my life doing those things. I learned SCUBA and I work with wood in a way that makes me happy.

Be all I can be for the glory of God. I try my best to live my faith as a disciple; helping others to learn the bible's promises. I am a full bible Christian who spends time in the bible and sharing the blessings I get from that discipline.

I want a woman of faith who does not adhere to fundamentalist legalism. I am really anti religion and do not need anybody telling me that my faith is not sincere. God has given me a clear conscience and I want to share life with a sincere person of subsatnce. If you think that all things made by God are good when received with thanksgiving and grace; we might get along quite well.
