I Would Describe Myself As

I am now widowed after 53 yrs with the same man. I’m creative and don’t mind being alone but I love spending time with the right people. I spend most of my time weaving tapestries in my studio and at times teach Navajo style weaving. I love the Sw and car trips. I love a cabin by a stream and bird watching as well as strolling in the forest or beach. Don’t ask me to backpack or even hike too far any more. I’ve done my share of traveling, including sailing in the Sea of Cortez and the Tahitian Islands but I’m pretty much over the long hours on planes. I would like to do an inside passage cruise on a small wilderness explorer though. Alaska is always in my heart after living a winter there and traveling to and from a few times. I have always enjoyed games as way of socializing but my husband didn’t so I’d like someone who can enjoy games on occasion. As a fairly new single older woman, I’m trying to rediscover who I am after being a wife and Mom for so long. I’m excited about the prospects for my future and hope to find some male companionship to spend part of my time with. I’m not looking for a long term romantic relationship. I’m more looking for someone who I can connect on a deeper level with. Someone I can totally trust and is not too judgmental.
