I Would Describe Myself As

My kids have all grown up and have lives of their own. I've spent the last 2 years feeling sorry for myself and missing the days when I had a house full of kids. I broke up with my "partner" 4 years ago when I realized that he was not treating me very well and that i would rather be alone than with someone that wasn't good to me. I've spent a lifetime surviving, I'm very good at it. It's made me very strong and i know for a fact that i don't really need anyone in my life......but i WANT people in my life. I'm looking for friendship as i feel that everything good about healthy relationships grows from truly liking that person......love has never seemed to be enough. I want to travel and i want to LIVE and enjoy my life instead of just surviving it. I know that happiness comes from within and i also know if u surround yourself with positive and supportive people it cultivates the happiness and positivity that u bring to the table. I'm looking for my best friend, my partner in crime, and hopefully i make some amazing friends along the way. I have practiced Buddhism and meditation for the last 5 years and it has allowed me to grow into exactly who i want to be. I'm still growing....learning.....and hopefully i can find someone to join me on my journey but as long as I can make some meaningful connections with people.....i call that success and i will be grateful for them.
