I Would Describe Myself As
An adventurous person but less adventurous now. I'm widowed and don't have any own children, but I inherited my late husband's 4 step children, and I'm glad.
Traveled the United States and some of Canada in an old Dodge van - homemade conversion - nothing fancy but it worked. Lived on a back to the land commune in Missouri. Done a lot of traveling since then. And then went back to college and earned an MBA. Taught at the local community college after that. Best job I ever loved. Kept traveling some in spite of having settled down. My late husband and I bought distressed houses and renovated them --Nice homes for nice people was our motto. The there's a bunch more but this journey down the what used to be road is getting boring.
The only drug I use now is alcohol in moderation. Still love the Grateful Dead, Leonard Cohen, Velvet Underground etc. I may be old but I got to see all the good bands.
I'd like to find somebody to love who shares my values of helping, caring, generosity and fighting the rather futile battle to protect what's left of our planet. Would like a sense of community, even if it's simply a community of two. I really like Oregon but could be open to moving if all the circumstances were right
