Hi, I'm an a disabled, housebound guy.
So now almost everyone has gone, filter hu.
I, like us all have had my journey and I like to make my life more than these walls.
I've been an engineer, an electrician and a lecturer but now I'm generally wileing away the ineffable making models, watching films, crafting, reading, listening to music, I like to cook but not for myself so much. I'm philosophical and I'm trying to develop stoicism as a perspective but that's a work in progress.
I'm articulate, empathic, tolerant, understanding, clever, insightful, I have some skill and a vast quantity of interesting if useless knowledge but I can be bitter, and dispondent. I'm real not some cheap imitation. I'm not like most people, but then again who is.
I have no expectations, preconceptions or agenda. I doubt anyone will respond but no-one will respond if I don't try.
I have my own home, I'm not starving but I've no savings just ticking alone by.
I smoke weed, have done since I was 18, it help with pain management.
My disability is I get paralysed, not that profoundly anymore but often. So I struggle to walk a long way, stairs are not really a thing I can do anymore. But I have had a really cool through floor lift fitted,
I'm not in a wheel chair but it's only a matter of time.
So if after reading the cricital highlights with a slant on filtering the facile, mercenaric and egocentric maybe one or two of you may wish to talk, meet or something more? Who know. Even if my search is to no avail I hope that somewhere some people, however few find true love, happiness, companionship even if only with themselves.
