I was raised country by my grandparents and I got my moral compass from them , married for 57yrs and still held hands when they went for a walk. They didn't lie because they didn't do things that they had to lie about, people that never even considered cheating on their partner. Or cheating a friend or even a stranger ,because it just wasn't right, to be a man of character was what a man strived for, you did things for people because it put a smile on their face,not because they thought they would get a pat on the back, the days where wise men spoke because they had something to say and fools spoke because they just had to say something .
