I'm considered an outgoing guy, always eager to give a helping hand when wanted. I try to go through each day with a little laughter and living each day to its fullest. Love EVERYTHING outdoors but also love to cuddle up with a book or write in my journal and maybe a nice warm fire as well for some great down time. I, at times, go for a sunrise walk and will end the day with a sunset hike or jaunt to the beach and appreciate the sunshine or rain showers, either way works for me. Walking in the woods when its raining can be good fun. I'm into kayaking, backpacking, camping, hot spring hunting, bike riding, tossing a Frisbee,or getting friends together for a baseball or volleyball game followed by a BBQ potluck and most amusing things to do out of doors. Also enjoy working in the garden and/or painting on canvas in the yard are peaceful laid back things to do. I'm a great cook, I've great stories to tell of my fun in the kitchen. Nothing like preparing a good meal. I take good care of myself on the healthier side of the road usually but I like to splurge at times eat something gruesomely delicious. So... I have a beautiful daughter whom is a young adult that is going to college in N. Carolina, miss having her around :( and also there's my beloved KittyKat who is very dear to me. She is an amazing companion at home who loves to be loved. Hmmm lets see what else... OH! I enjoy my great family and many great friends whom are all very important to me as I am for them. I'm known for having a great shoulder and a good ear. There are many things I love to do and would like to share with another. I'm a strong person as an individual but shine best when I'm involved in a loving friendship. I love to dance to Live Music and consider that a way to release/unwind and let my hair down. So really anyways, there is lots to talk about, you should get the gist of the basics here on this profile. I've only had one successful LTR on another dating site on line but really only have had 3 LTR in my life. LOL. I say ONLY 3... yes but I'm kinda proud of that. Ya know, I mean, I haven't had 15Kazillion relationships, jumping from bed to bed. Carrying old patterns to a new friendship and not taking the time to grow and reflect on the experience itself. What was learned, the positives and negatives of my own actions. LOL. I was blessed with 3 great connections that all lasted for years. Its saddening to think that change seems to be a terminator but the immense experiences are precious to my heart and change is good. I was fortunate. Haven't tried on-line since but I figured I'd give another go... it doesn't hurt and if a friendly acquaintance is the outcome with kind people then its a win win. Friendship and if we're fortunate to find some beauty within that connection between us, than maybe lots more. I am ready to hangout with a sweet affectionate smile. Since my last relationship, 2 years ago or so I've made time for self-growth and great travel though the thought of becoming a Monk did cross my mind, but that would be a waste of what my heart really wants to share. And the idea of living without passionate intimacy with a treasured jewel is, well...very unrealistic.
