In my own words, I am an optimistic, socially conscious, professional women who wakes up each morning with a sense of purpose and joy. My life is excellent in my 50s, yet I am curious about what the next chapter holds. My interests are multifaceted and I can go from a black tie gala one night to a rock concert the next. I love exploring museums, new restaurants, cultural events, meditation, fashion, philosophy, and music (80s, alternative, jazz, and blues), but I am a rocker at heart (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Scorpions, etc).
My career has been focused on education issues by working in community organizations, philanthropy, and government. I enjoy creating solutions for complex problems …which I have the honor of doing everyday in my work.
What gives me joy? A sunset and having a moment to be present at the edge of evening…a song that takes you back to a moment long ago and makes you want to dance and sing along… enjoying a meal with good friends or family when the conversation has continuous flow. I believe in enjoying the sweetness of life, being kind, and embracing a positive attitude.
