Moved from Austin TX to Blaine WA in July, to get away from it all and back to nature. Retired at the moment. Taking a break after a few years of "life events", now that things have settled down for me.
Amicably separated for 2 years, after 22 year relationship, divorce in process. We are and will remain, friends. We both want different things now, one being I want to live in Washington state and she wants to stay in Austin Texas.
I am secure financially and emotionally, kind, easy going and gregarious, can be introverted or extroverted depending what is required or needed at the time, looking for the same.
I moved here to do all the things that everyone else comes here to do, hiking, falls, mountains, Salish Sea, whales, kayaking, port towns, CA, etc.
Obviously looking for someone with similar interests and energy, but also enjoys down recharge time.
I am looking for someone around my age, a few years younger or older.
I believe in something larger than myself, but it is not defined by the King James Bible, nor any organized religion. My life view is based on the following two axioms. "We exist to serve." And, " The needs of the many, outweigh the greeds of the few."
