Just moved to Derry after living in London for over 40 years. Bit of a fish out of water, no pun intended.

London-Irish guy, with arthritis, but not here looking for someone to look after me. Try and keep active, when I can by, going on long walks and joining local exercise classes.

Love animals and I'm very much a cat person. Kept birds for many years. I don’t drink as I quit drinking 25 years ago, wasn’t an alcoholic, I just overdid it, so being around people who drink doesn’t bother me….to a degree. Can’t stand smoking though. Haven’t dated in a very long time, so I’m unsuccessfully trying to rectify that. Hopefully, I’ll have better luck when I move to Derry this year in June. Doesn’t help that I’m extremely shy when it comes to matters of the heart. Apart from that, I’m a very friendly and outgoing introvert, who can chat for hours over a cup of coffee, especially about music. I’m also far from materialistic, and like the simple things in life.

I once said of myself, that you could call me a hippy only for the fact that I don't do drugs and haven't met the right tree yet ;)
