I'm a little rough around the edges and I enjoy digging my toes in ocean sand. have 1 grand-kid. I'll enjoy yours if you have any but I won't devote every moment to them. I like to party but not like I used to. I just can't throw away that much time anymore. So I can hang with 20-somethings around a camp fire or dance band, but not often. I would prefer an ambiance saturated spa nestled in the mountains with hot springs and all. With the right person that would include all night massages and talk of things to come. I can enjoy the company of many types of people, and I love Saturday markets and biking downtown. When in Portland I can spend hours in Powell’s. And I would like to travel--Amsterdam. But again, I would prefer somewhere warmer. I love the sound of hand drums and drum circles. I would like to prospect for gold in Arizona and I like camping in general. I'm free enough to just get up and go for a road-trip, but would prefer company. Right now my little dog Fritz is that company, but that only goes just so far. I will not mate-up because I need to. I like my own company and I can wait for the right person. I'm confident that my soul tribe exists and that my yin is caught somewhere in time and space. I'm convinced that what we think is real is all illusion (albeit a tenacious illusion) and that we just borrow our energy and must give it back someday (Avatar). I'm becoming centered and that allows me to express myself in whacky little ways. Not so whacky as to attract attention but just enough to make things fun. I still carry the dream of peace, love and music, Unfortunately it seems the rest of the world prefers hostility and hatred. If you fall into that category then pass me on by. I’ve been baptized but I’m not likely to go to church with you. I prefer more esoteric approaches to reality, something like a Zen/Gnostic approach. I’m learning to love more and accept more. I’ve giving up drama and really don’t enjoy conflict. Give me a sunny day, music by James Horner and time alone or with my yin and I’m entering the gates of paradise. I would prefer to enter those gates in a southern clime, but for now the cool, cool north will have to do. If I encounter my Yin, then we could visit paradise (both physically and spiritually) together and make bliss our favorite vacation destination. On my bucket list is playing harmonica with Willie Nelson. I guess I better hurry on that one. I would like to sail around the world, and visit new-age places of growth--like Findhorn. If this sounds even close to being interesting to you then maybe you would enjoy emailing me and we can get this thing started. But, and this is an important but, I believe I am a sojourner in space and time, therefore if I don’t find my Yin I’ll wait patiently for her in time and space, in this dimension or another. I’ve got all the time there ever will be, but not a minute to waste. I just won't settle for less this time. I see you. PS Since writing this profile I have been in a motorcycle wreck and have lost the thrill. Maybe in the future I'll try again, but really, there is so much to do without riding. I was an OMMP patient and that's why my profile says I use drugs often. But if the truth be told, I truly enjoy a puff or two of some good weed in the evening. I like to make music with it, and it helps the arthritis. If this is a problem for you, then obviously we're not a match. I go for days without using, which means I'm flexible in my usage. Of course I wouldn't let it get in the way of love?? PPPS. Due to a crushed vertebrae I've lost an inch in height over the last two years. Fortunately it doesn't hurt at all. TMI?
