Live simply. Liberal and politically aware, not obsessed. Spiritual, not religious. Many interests and love learning about new things. Care about sustaining a healthy natural environment. I love the outdoors, all seasons. The lawn, gardens, and animals keep me busy. I design jewelry and several kinds of fiber art and teach squirrelly Middle School youngsters life skills and reading. Enjoy gathering friends and family at a table or campfire. Creative in the kitchen. Cooking is my love language. Love LIVE music!!! almost anything... classic rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, motown, newgrass, roots, jazz, classical, old country! Not into pop, rap, metal or opera, but will listen with an open mind and heart. I like to go off the beaten path, browse junk shops, view and collect art, hunt for sea glass at the beach, camp and hike in the woods. Time away at the ocean or mountains feeds my soul. Country girl who enjoys a jaunt to the city for shows, events, food, people. Looking forward to friendship, partnership, someone to join me on this odyssey called Life. My baggage is long-ago unpacked and thrown off the train!!! I enjoy being around fun, intelligent, and kind men, with maybe a touch of badass. Life is meant to be shared and I share all I am, all I have, and all life's possibilities... travels, adventures, dreams, the joys of watching kids and grandchildren grow, sorrows of loss and disappointment, facing the trials of aging with humor and compassion. ;-) Many quiet nights in, a few fun nights out... good times, hard times... all of it!!! Really, it would just be so nice to simply have someone to share a meal with, go see a movie or some music, or take a hike somewhere serene and beautiful. This solitary life is getting old and none of us are getting younger... I believe people and opportunities come into our lives at the right time. I wonder... is now that time?
