Hi, my name is Matt and I live in Oakland. I have lived in the Bay Area since 1987 after growing up in Los Angeles. I enjoy California weather and the outdoor activities available. Golf, hiking, biking, camping and fishing are a few. My interests include: science (of course!); I also enjoy films, concerts (classic rock and jazz), theater and various exhibits. I also appreciate quiet times at home with special friends, enjoying good food and great wine. Most importantly, I'm sensitive and affectionate, with a unique (OK, some say goofy) sense of humor. I'm open and honest with my thoughts and feelings, sincere and unpretentious.I'd like to meet a woman shares the above qualities (or at least appreciates "goofy") and who is equally caring and affectionate as well as intelligent, attractive, quick-witted and socially progressive.
