You must have noticed my lava lamp in the front window. His name is Harold. I rescued him from a thrift store, and he's switched to wake up when the sun goes down. He watches over me during the night, because I live alone. Would you like some tea, or a beer, maybe some brownies? Here, take this. It's pretty good stuff... As for me, people tell me that I come across twenty years younger than the fifty-nine that I am. They say I'm pretty well preserved physically, emotionally, and in my general outlook on the world. I'm not sure if it's because of good genes, or good jeans. I intend to stay that way, and be true to my counter culture roots, no matter what life throws my way, so I like to live and let live as much as I can. I'm at a place in my life where my time is my own. There are a few extra pounds around the dreaded middle, but not too many. I could lose them if I tried a bit harder or if I had a reason (hint, hint). I feel very comfortable in my own skin, and I like who I am. I'm an open, sincere, affectionate, and caring man, and I believe that loving another person deeply is the most important thing anyone can do with their life--and that doing just that helps the world become a better place for everyone. Revealing my thoughts and feelings to you are not a problem, as I have few secrets hidden away from myself, my friends, or the world. I am at peace with my past, and there is no serious drama in my life. I appreciate my lot in life, it's just that it would be nice if I had a partner with whom I could circle my busses...Peace, and One Love.

It seems to me that learning about the other and deciding if we might be a match is what's important. Unless we would have something directly in common together that we discovered before we meet, I would say having coffee would be a good start(that idea is soooo cliche').

My life is for learning, as Joni Mitchell once said, and that's what's important to me...learning about my self. I believe that loving another person deeply is the most important thing anyone can do with their life, and that doing so makes the world a better place. I'm in a situation where my time is my own now, and so I have the time and energy to be introspective. Introspective, but outgoing is what describes me.

Being with someone I like. It doesn't really matter what we do. I'd say cooking a meal together would be a fine evening, though I don't really know how to cook. You can teach me. I like talking, and I don't have a difficult time making conversion (but if you're shy, I don't have a problem with that at all :)). I believe that friends should always try and make friends comfortable. If fact, I'll probably have you laughing right away.

I absolutely love to write, so those HC(hippie chicks)that can appreciate this get all the bonus points I can steal for them! I love super intelligent hippie chicks. They don't have to be educated, though. Unfortunately, large egos often come with an extended education, and these hippie chicks often find conventional lifestyles overide their hippie ambitions. :( Also unfortunately, my past life's experiences have precluded me from being similarly successful. And today,though I am educated, my ambitious lie in other areas than this;I'm a hippy.That doesn't necessarily mean we are not a match.
