I've Always Wanted To Try

Paragliding. I'm very afraid of nights but with paragliding, the canopy is already open & inflated. Unlike skydiving the parachute only unpacks after it's too late to do any thing about it. Equivalent to jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft with a bed sheet tied to your back. With a hang-glider if it fails, you have, so much folding tent above you. With paragliding the cords are already taught, and the canopy is already inflated. No single point failure, will down the craft. Indeed many, many things would have fail to bring about a crash. Stay out of clouds, keep a eye out for thermals, and your as good as gold. The closest thing any of us to flying like a bird. I heard a story of a hang glider was climbing a thermal. They looked over across the thermal., to see an eagle doing the same thing, climbing up the thermal. What an 3xperiance.
