I Would Describe Myself As

I grew up in a small town in the Finger Lakes region of New York, then moved to North Georgia when I was an adult. Lived there 6 years. Moved to Baton Rouge next and worked for LSU for several years. Moved to Katy in 2006. I’ve worked for colleges and universities most of my career. After my son was born, I realized I enjoy the company of younger children. Because of this and to work closer to my son’s school, I’ve been working for Katy school district for 5 years. I have been divorced 2.5 years and am just putting myself out there a little bit. I’ve never wanted to use a dating site, but here I am. 😋 There’s a lot to appreciate about being single, but I’d like to have an adult companion with whom to enjoy life, travel, maybe heal some relationship wounds. My son and I would both enjoy another good male role model in his life. 😁 Honesty, self awareness, and humor in a partner (and in myself) are important to me. I’m not interested in games or drama. If you smoke cigarettes or marijuana or if you need to drink alcohol daily or if watching internet pornography is super important to you, I’m likely not the woman for you. I love to laugh and have fun. My humor can be sarcastic, but not the kind of sarcasm that is hurtful. I like all kinds of shows, most often searching for a good sci-fi/fantasy, action/comedy or documentary. I’m not into makeup or designer anything. To me, there are much better ways to spend my money. 🧳 🏝️ 🏕 🚙 ☀ 🏖 ⛰ I love to travel (road trips included), alone or with others. I’ve never been to Europe and I’d love to go one day. When I’m not working or hanging with my son, I’ll be studying, practicing yoga, swimming, learning Spanish, hiking, traveling, hanging with friends, or bingeing a show on Prime. I am trustworthy and transparent. Integrity is important to me. I’m open, willing and excited to try new things. In a safe relationship, I’m very loving, giving, empathetic, and affectionate. 🤗
