What is a HIPPIE? "Hippies advocated nonviolence and love, a popular phrase being “Make love, not war,” for which they were sometimes called “flower children.” They promoted openness and tolerance as alternatives to the restrictions and regimentation they saw in middle-class society. Hippies lived in various types of family groups. They commonly sought spiritual guidance from sources outside the Judeo-Christian tradition, particularly Buddhism, Hinduism, and other Eastern religions, and sometimes in various combinations." HIPPIE is a philosophy. A guideline for making decisions. We are talking about a group of teenagers and young adults during the 60s & 70s. It was a wake-up notice. The music, the art, the respect for life.
It's difficult to describe myself without being asked a question. I am not so much into who I am but what I am. I wanted to find a Guru around 1977/1978 and was sent two dreams telling me my wish would be fulfilled and to look for my chance. Lo and behold! My mother, who was living in CA told me about a Guru in India. She invited me to visit his ashram and we traveled there with about 30 other people out of San Francisco. It was around Christmas 1979. We visited two of his Ashrams and amazing things happened. We were invited to speak with him personally and he knew all about me. He made some predictions for my future. So I accepted him as my Guru and since then he has helped me, healed me, guided me, and protected me. I got into alternative healthcare and had a lot of administrative jobs. I was in research for 3 years. Was married to a professional guitar technician for 17 years so I know quite a few people in the music business. I think I have a healthy sense of reality.
