I live in Dawsonville, Ga and I am looking for friends/companions to share a bowl with. If you are looking for a 'soulmate', back in the days of astrology, it was determined that I would be most compatible with Libras, Leos and Geminis. Just for your info; I do work. I currently work two part time jobs actually as I do not have someone to 'hang with'. I miss happy hours and dancing from my youth.
when I am in a dancing mood, I listen to Jay and the Americans, Chuck Berry. My favorite dance scene is from American Bandstand when they are dancing to "let's dance" by Chris Montez. If you watch this scene, try and pick out the couple you vision yourself. WHERE do folks go dancing around here where there is decent music? I have tried senior recreation centers; thanks, but no thanks. Not yet.
I do not particularly enjoy driving after dark so daytrips it is! Especially in the fall; I miss riding a trike; so much fun; or a bicycle for two!
Another reason I enjoy working part time is to give me something to talk about; I don't discuss politics or religious views. If I had to 'label' myself, it would be as a Christian Protestant as that is how I was raised. If my partner in life wishes to attend church on Sunday mornings; I would go with him; I do not go alone; just another reminder of not having a partner. I do not particularly care for the 'new' form of worship; if that makes sense.I can actually remember when Billy Graham would fill a stadium; now those newer and bigger stadiums are filled with sports fans; I miss attending sports events with friends; I miss playing cards with friends; love to play spades; I am known as the nil queen!! I go to the local indoor pool about 3 times a week; I do an hour of 'exercise' from walking, marching, jogging, stretching in the water; I do not necessarily swim but can. I also enjoy walking at the local park as I live directly across from a beautiful park.
