I Would Describe Myself As

Hi, I'm David. I like doing yoga, reading, playing guitar, listening to music, cooking, and walking, My tastes in music are eclectic. I like good rock, jazz, jazz funk, jazz fusion classical, blue grass and classic country or alt country. I'm not fond of most rap, mainstream modern country, or pop music. A lot of what I listen to is obscure for most people's taste.I am in recovery for drugs and alcohol but I don't mind others drinking a little or smoking pot and I don't do 12 Step meetings at all. I actually still love weed but for now I can't indulge. I work full time for a plumbing company right now. I'm very fit for my age. I've never tried online dating before. I have a quirky sense of humour and I'm very articulate. My politics are very left wing and I'm an Atheist. I value intelligence, honesty, and a good sense of humour, and aesthetically pleasing women. I have a slim muscular build and I'm often told I look a lot younger than my age. I'm 5'7" inches tall and about 140lbs. My picture is a couple months old and it's just a selfie. I'm honest, sensitive, strong minded and good hearted, but don't let the Teddy Bear give you the wrong impression, I'm not a neutered tea cup chihuahua, I'm more of a mutt with lots of personality and still has his nuts. I'm definitely not a player. I consider myself to be unconventional in a lot of ways so be forewarned. I'm not into shallow or inauthentic people and if you're the same age as me I like women who look young and attractive for their age. I'm pretty picky about who I want to get to know or spend time with, whether others think its justified or not. I have a healthy ego and I value myself whether that feeling is reciprocated or not. I'm not rich but I have a few bucks. I don't have a vehicle or drive, I take the bus or Skytrain. I don't watch any professional sports or most TV shows or Hollywood movies, I like things like Breaking Bad, the Sopranos, etc. well written and well acted dramas. I mostly watch documentaries "Normal" or conventional people are not who I click with usually and the feeling is usually mutual. I don't know if I'll even go on a date, but I'm curious to see what happens or who responds. I'm fine being alone but part of me wants to find someone special to spend time with. I was born and raised in BC. I grew up in Prince George but Ive lived in the Vancouver area for over 20 years in total. That's about it.
