Ah, the terror of the blank page.

I know it well because writing is part of my job. Though I wouldn't call what I do professionally art, I have an artistic side. Over the years I've dabbled in painting (Some of the pieces I liked are hanging around my apartment). I like writing stories, songs, or poetry, and playing my guitar.

I do a lot of reading, and am continuously growing my science fiction, fantasy collection. Authors in this genre are mostly closet philosophers, and it's interesting to morally and philosophically critique the worlds they create. Plus, wouldn't it be awesome if magic was real! Or would it?

I like cooking. My specialties are pesto and red sauces, gnocchi (yes, my grandmother was part Italian), and Cioppino. A roasted chicken is another French favorite.

What else. I've been cherishing my semi-daily walk along the great highway. I live by ocean beach, so it's easy to get to. I love walking the beach as well. I've got a great local coffee shop if we're ever allowed to do that again. I'm 420 friendly.

I sometime think of giving it all up and wandering the country as a barefoot sage, but I'm way to practical for that. I'm not a stuff guy but I like me creature comforts.  Though the sage thing...maybe someday. :-) The sage and his guitar, the guitar and his sage. It could be a nice story.
