Me describiría a mi mismo como
"Hello",
I am new to the Grand Rapids area, I recently moved here from San Diego CA, and Baja Mexico, just to try something new. One of my daughters lives here, she is newly pregnant, and asked me to come out to Michigan, for a visit. Since I have never been to the Midwest, I thought, "why not"!
So, I packed up my car, loaded up the two dogs, grabbed my dancing shoes, the tennis racket, my fishing poles, (left the surfboards in Baja) filled up the car gas tank and drove my adventurous spirit 2400 miles out to the midwest. I still have not decided 100 percent where I want to spend my retirement. So far, Baja Mexico with my house on the beach has been my home for the last two years....I like the beach lifestyle , it's all I've known... Baja is like paradise to me.
OK, So Here goes....."I would rather be happy than right" :) ... I'm a fun loving, respectful, sports minded guy, who truly values family and friends... I normally dress casual, but I can also clean up nicely, depends on the occasion. My friends would describe me, as a very friendly young and fit 61...
about me.. I can be quiet at times, yet, I can also make my presence be known.. I am sensitive, loving and kind. I can be funny, but also know when to be serious . I try to not sweat the small stuff in life. Sunsets make me smile .. I have two amazing daughters 29 and 31, and they are both active in my life, and are self supporting and are designing and creating their own paths in life.
My interests vary... I am evolving to become a better dad, friend, and lover.. I would enjoy the company of an attractive/active woman with similar views...We add to each others busy lives, love and respect is the code. (I seek monogamy),
I enjoy playing tennis, skiing, surfing the ocean waves, not surfing the net, disc golf or anything (A-Z) outdoors in the sun. I love to go dancing (have taken salsa classes), enjoy a picnic, or going to listen to some live music anywhere. It would be nice to learn the Grand Rapids and surrounding areas with someone fun, who can dance, also who is enlightened.
It would be nice to connect with another romantic, one unafraid to kiss in public, just because we can, or holding hands, as we walk the journey together, special lady must be creative in mind and spirit,,, "Life is a journey, not a destination".. So, come join me...
